Morning:07: 30 AM pick up at hotel, drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where the late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, President HoChiMinh's Mausoleum, Uncle Ho's House on-stills, Ho Chi Minh Museum. Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must- see monument in Ha noi. It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus. Proceed to visit the Museum of Fine Arts. Lunch with Vietnamese specialities food in the north of Viet nam has a strong Chinese influence with stir-fried dishes and less spicy food than the south. Specialities of Ha noi include a noodle and meat soup called Pho and a marinated fish dish called Cha Ca. For lunch there is a chance to try Cha Ca at a Ha noi institution, the Cha Ca Ha noi restaurant. Afternoon: After lunch visit the Bat Trang province and enjoy shopping. 5:00 PM back to the hotel. Have dinner at restaurant. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. End of the trip. |

Near Hoa Lu is Bich Dong grotto, known as the second most picturesque one in Vietnam Sightseeing by small boat along stream and go through wonderful tunnels and caves, you will see many nice caves and pagodas located on the clips. From Thai VI Temple you can take a boat to visit Tam Coc grotto. In side the grotto, stalactites flaunt their wonders hanging shapes like masses of jade.A picnic lunch is included. Morning 07:00 AM . Depart from hotel for Bac Ninh province. Drive to the Dong Ho folk drawing village. Visiting some painters, families which are handed from generation to generation, you will see their traditional paintings such as Hung Dua (Coconut catching), Danh Ghen (jealousy fight), To Nu (a maiden). Afternoon After having luch, continue to visit Dau pagoda, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful village pagodas. You will see the most valuable work of art in the pagoda- the 2m-high Phap van giant statue in meditation on a lotus flower. Travel by several distances from Dau pagoda to But Thap pagoda. The pagoda is well- known by its the Statue of Budha with one thousand hands and one thousand eyes- one of many wood carvings which are said to be typical of the traditional Vietnamese art of wood carvings and sculpture. Besides them there are some 90 stone carvings depicted topic of everyday life in traditional Vietnamese society. In the afternoon back to Ha noi. End of the trip. |
